| Southern Pacific Railroad's River Station was the city’s first transcontinental railroad depot and freight yard, located adjacent to the city center, and helped transform Los Angeles from a small pueblo into a bustling metropolis. A microfische copy of the 4'x12' map is reported to be filed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History, 900 Exposition Blvd., Los Angeles, California. | |||
